My work captures strong graphic elements and

language. From initial drawings to honing working shapes, contrasting bold, warm and cold colour 

with light and dark to provide immediate access to shape and composition with subtle textures which contribute to the creation of volume, space, 

movement and light.

The ‘Passing Through’ series is a visual experience, stripped down to its most essential elements guided by rhythm, balance, tension and harmony; qualities that belong to the artwork itself rather than to any external reference. 

The shapes coexist without receding or advancing in a naturalistic way; the painting surface becomes an area for relationships rather than a window onto a scene.
